Brentwood Theatre Presents: "Elegies - For Angels, Punks, & Raging Queens" Original Recording Soundtrack

Stephen Moyer Online along with Mark P. Reed of the Brentwood Theatre are now selling the original recording of their play “Elegies – For Angels, Punks, & Raging Queens”. To help them bring in more funds to help out in expanding their theatre as well as to show our support for them and their renovations – we offer to sell these soundtracks exclusively here on Stephen Moyer Online.  Here are some words from Mark P. Elegies’ is a beautiful show which features songs such as ‘The Rain Keeps Falling Down‘ and ‘My Brother Lived in San Francisco‘. Brentwood Theatre is delighted to be offering a small number of CDs for sale, recorded live by a cast of professional and non-professional actors at their sell out performances in May 2006.

Brentwood Theatre is an independent community theatre which opened in 1993. Seating 95 to 174 people in a variety of formats this ’studio-style / fringe’ venue was build by the community, for the community to provide a venue for the many local drama and music groups to perform in. In 2006, as part of the launch of a fundraising campaign that went on to raise nearly half a million pounds to provide proper dressing rooms and backstage facilities, the Theatre decided to produce the outstanding show ELEGIES FOR ANGELS, PUNKS AND RAGING QUEENS which went on to be performed at Brentwood Theatre and to transfer – for one day only  - to The Fortune Theatre in London’s West End.

This CD was a live recording made at Brentwood Theatre and features the cast of over eighty, all of whom performed ‘free’ as they wanted to be part of this outstanding show and to support the Theatre.
